In the Oasis area, which is located at the park’s main entrance, there are 2 coffee shops to try.
They are:
1. Joffrey’s Coffee Kiosk
Located at the main entrance.
The first stop on our list serves Joffrey’s hot coffee (Disney coffee), iced coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and more
2. Rainforest Cafe
Located at position 2 on the map.
Hot coffee, espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos, can be found here.
Discovery Island Locations
In the Discovery Island area, which is located at the center of the park, there are 5 coffee shops to try.
They are:
1. Nomad Lounge
Located at position 13 on the map.
Grab a Joffrey’s hot coffee, Mustang coffee, or alcoholic coffee drinks.
2. Tiffins
Located at position 12 on the map.
Also has Joffrey’s hot coffee, Mustang coffee, and alcoholic coffee drinks.
3. Creature Comforts
Located at position 15 on the map.
Find Starbucks hot coffee, iced coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, frappuccinos, and more coffee beverages.
4. Flame Tree Barbecue
Located at position 10 on the map.
Here you can only get Joffrey’s hot coffee.
5. Pizzafari
Located at position 14 on the map.
Another place with only Joffrey’s hot coffee.
Dinoland USA Locations
In the Dinoland USA area, which is located on the left side of the park, there are 3 coffee shops to try.
They are:
1. The Isle of Java
Located at position 11 on the map.
This place serves Joffrey’s hot coffee, iced coffee, flavored coffee, and alcoholic coffee drinks.
2. Dino-Bite Snacks
Located at position 58 on the map.
Joffrey’s hot coffee only can be bought here.
3. Restaurantosaurus
Located at position 57 on the map.
Here you can get Joffrey’s hot coffee, iced coffee, and flavored coffee.
Asia Locations
In the Asia area, which covers the back left side of the park, there are 4 coffee shops to try.
They are:
1. Joffrey’s Royal Anandapur Tea Company
Located at position 46 on the map.
There’s quite a variety here with Joffrey’s hot coffee, iced coffee, espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and alcoholic coffee drinks
2. Thirsty River Bar & Trek Snacks
Located at position 49 on the map.
Only serves Joffrey’s hot coffee.
3. Yak & Yeti Restaurant
Located at position 44 on the map.

4. Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes
Located at position 45 on the map.

Africa Locations
In the Africa area, which covers the back right side of the park, there are 5 coffee shops to try.
They are:
1. Harambe Market
Located at position 34 on the map.

2. Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery
Located at position 31 on the map.
This coffee shop has Joffrey’s hot coffee, iced coffee, flavored coffee, and alcoholic coffee drinks.
3. Tamu Tamu Refreshments
Located at position 32 on the map.
A place to grab your alcoholic coffee.
4. Tusker House
Located at position 29 on the map.

In the Pandora – The World of Avatar area, located on the right side of the park, there are 2 coffee shops to try.

Things To Consider
When selecting your favorite coffee spot, you should think about the environment of the theme park. This park is often crowded with children and families, so you should anticipate longer wait times. Also, you may need to sit outside since the restaurants at Disney parks often get crowded. But that’s ok, Animal Kingdom has a lot of beautiful scenery to enjoy.
Also, keep in mind this is a Disney World theme park. The average price for a cup may be higher than your local coffee shops.
Wait Times
Waiting in line for coffee at Animal Kingdom can vary greatly depending on the time and day. Weekdays are typically much less crowded than weekends and early morning crowds are much lighter than afternoons and evenings as the park fills up.
You can usually expect to wait in line for at least 10-15 minutes to get your coffee. During peak times it can take longer which can be very frustrating.
There are several coffee stands located throughout Animal Kingdom so be sure to check the crowds before picking a place to wait in line. If you are in a hurry, it is always best to avoid peak times.
Enjoying Your Coffee Outdoors
Enjoying my coffee outdoors at Animal Kingdom is one of my favorite things to do. Frozen coffee can be particularly refreshing on those extra hot days at Disney World.
The beautiful surroundings, the unique wildlife, and the overall serenity of being close to nature are unparalleled experiences. The smells of the abundance of flowers and trees mixed with the smell of freshly brewed coffee will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
Experiencing the wonders of the park, with a cup of coffee in one hand, make for an amazing start to the day. Whatever you choose to do, you will be content knowing that you’re having a quality coffee outdoors and surrounded by all the beauty that Animal Kingdom has to offer.
My Favorite Places For Coffee At Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom has so many fun places to grab a coffee break. At that point, it’s more about the restaurant and experience than it is about the caffeine. However, a few coffee shops still stand out above the rest.
My favorite place for coffee at Animal Kingdom is Creature Comforts Starbucks. Located conveniently on Discovery Island, this relaxing atmosphere is the perfect spot to grab a cup of Joe. Creature Comforts also serves an assortment of breakfast and snack items, like yogurt or pastries. The place’s interior design looks like a safari camp and is inspired by classic Disney cartoons, making it an excellent spot for a photo op.
